Which Hard Drive should i choose between the WD Green and Red ?

Those 2 drives have been designed for Storage, they are almost exactly the same, the Red, however, has one feature the Green does not have, TLER Support.

What is TLER (Time Limited Error Recovery) you might ask ? It is a very important feature if you use your drives in RAID, it will greatly reduce the time before the drive gives up when it finds an error (about 7 to 14 seconds).

The Raid card is normally programmed to repair the miscoordination of information, if the Red Drive was not equipped with this technology the drives could run during multiple minutes to repair the error, leaving you unable to read or write your HD.
